In Korea, it is common for women to spend a lot of time talking on the phone with friends. Young women in particular spend even more time on the phone.
In my daughters' case, they often talk on the phone for more than 30 minutes at a time. I often nag them about that, but they don't listen.
On the other hand, unlike other middle-aged Korean men, I don't often have long phone conversations with friends or coworkers.
Instead of talking on the phone, we like to communicate through Kakaotalk or meet and drink together and talk about each other's work, family, and each other's concerns.
I think the difference in phone usage time between men and women will be the same not only in Korea but also in the Philippines.
Hi, Mr. Park^^
Thank you for sharing.
I guess it is similar.
However, there are women who don't like talking on the phone too.
And sometimes it depends on the person they are talking to.
