Q : Can you think of a time when you or someone you know hit the nail on the head? What was the situation, and how was the correct statement or solution found? Describe the experience in detail. A : Maybe i have a experience of the situation that someone i know hit the nail on the head. But i can`t remember it now. So, i am going to studying about the meaning of another idioms. 1. "A dime a dozen" : it can be used when describe something common. Not unique. 2. "Beat around the bush" : it can be used when describe a situation someone is avoiding answer a question. 3. "Bite the bullet" : it can be used when describe something unavoidable.
