How can you misinterpret someones body language?

Ȳ/2024-06-07

ȸ ÷ֽ ۹
If a person and I have different cultural background, I think it's easier to misinterpret someone's body language. For example, I heard there is a culture where people show their respect to the other person by crossing their arms, which means they will not attack the other person. But in Korea, it's a very rude behavior. So if a person in that culture visits my country, then his body language is likely to be misinterpreted. Also sometimes misinterpretation happens regardless of culture. For example, when I'm nervous, my facial expression disappears then some people think I'm angry.
