I haven't experienced hitchhiking. But if it means that I get in the awkward person's car, I had some experiences similar to hitchhiking. When I did the volunteer work, it's a real countryside and we don't have any car. So we just walked in hot summer. The leader of that village saw us by chance and took us by his car.
