What are some differences between Korea and the philippines that you observed when you visited ?

I visited Clark and Angeles, Philippines with 3 friends in January last year. The purpose of the trip was to play golf, drink, and get massages. So I didn't get the chances to talk to the locals or eat the local food, so I don't know the Philippines very well. If I go back to the Philippines, I want to experience more of the history, culture, and food of the Philippines instead of playing golf. If I talk about Korea and the Philippines within the scope of my knowledge, Both Korea and the Philippines were colonized in the past. Korea by Japan, the Philippines by Spain, the United States, and Japan. Korea has four seasons, so you can enjoy different sports by season, while the weather in the Philippines is always warm or hot, so it seems that you can only enjoy summer sports. And the Philippines is a good place to enjoy sports like golf because the cost of living is lower than in Korea. Also, Filipinos can speak English better than Koreans, so it would be good to travel abroad.

Hello, Soonho!
Thanks for such a great and detailed answer! I definitely agree—our sports are mostly limited to summer sports. In fact, you can even see some Filipinos playing basketball outdoors under the scorching sun! Thats how passionate they are about sports! 😄

I hope you get the chance to explore more of the Philippines, just like you mentioned. I really appreciate that youve made positive memories here.

And by the way, you did a great job constructing your sentences—they were mostly grammatically correct. Great work! 😊
