Why is it(not) advisable to follow a strict schedule ?

I absolutely agree that it is advisable to follow a strict schedule. I think people tend to live more regularly as they get older. I think people get lazy when they don't follow a strict schedule because it is human nature to want to relax comfortably. In my case, I live my daily life according to a planned schedule. To be honest, I am a lazy man and if I say by what I learned in the textbook this morning, I am a real couch potato. But I never want to be a couch potato. That's why I make a strict schedule every day and follow it. For example, I take an English class every morning at 6 am and I always wake up an hour before the class to prepare for the class. Because I want to study English before I start work at 9 am. If I don't learn English at 6am, I don't have to wake up at 5am every morning. It is very hard to follow a strict schedule, but I think it will be very rewarding in the end. And I also believe that my English, although not fluent now, will gradually improve.
