I believe most of the people are scared of their future. I think the reason not many people are seemed to be like that is because they acquired the skills to deal with that anxiety through their own experiences. In my opinion, uncontrollable characteristic of the future makes the anxiety about it. This factor makes people to imagine all kinds of scenarios including unlikely and unrealizable things. Even though there are lots of peaceful and happy scenarios through imaginations, human brain tends to only concentrate on negative and provocative things that it aggravates the fear. Additionally, people's own imaginations frequently connect to preparing for all circumstances that they have thought of. But, it doesn't help to have conviction about the future but rather creates totally different new scenarios or increase unstability. Since future will be always uncontrollable, it is critical for people who suffer a lot from the fear of the future to find out a way to deal with it.

Hello, Ms. WooIn! It's true that when we try to mentally prepare for every possible outcome, we end up feeling more overwhelmed and uncertain instead of more secure. Overthinking can just lead to more uncertainty rather than clarity or a sense of control.
