In the past, many Koreans were interested in their Saju and some considered their Saju as destiny. Some people went to famous fortune tellers especially when their children planned to get married. They checked their children in law's saju and they pushed their children to break up with the future spouses if his or her saju wouldn't be good. However, nowadays our generation and younger generations don't rely on saju. We don't totally believe in our saju or fortune tellers.

I cannot imagine breaking up with someone you were supposed to get married to because of Saju. I understand that it's about having a good life, but I can imagine how difficult that situation is. It's a good thing that, like you've said, nowadays, people don't rely on it too much.
