I don't know exactly how most academies manage their staff regarding their work and life balance. But I think many academies don't mind about it. In addition, most of the instructors are registered as freelancers ,they can't make a request for their work conditions including work and life balance. As for my academy, I try to manage their work and life balances. First, our teachers have annual leaves and they can use at any time when they want to. If they get married, they get two week leave.And they have a benefit of traveling abroad once a year, which I cover their cost. After student's exams, our instructors have a short leave and workshop travel.
