I used to donate very small money to charities. But unforunately, I can't rememer that I have lent or given a large amount money to someone except my family or relatives. In Korea, lending money to other people is not common. But some Koreans, even if they are not very wealthy, donate a lot of money to charity. On the other side, Koreans are devoted to their families and are willing to give up enjoying their lives for their families. I have been also doing my best for my parents and daughters. So I have given some money to my parents regulary and especially spent a large amount of money for my daughers while they were studying at schools. And I will spend a lot of money when my daughters get married because in Korea, it is commonfor parents to give money for their children's weddings. So, I am thinking of donating some money to my alma mater or hometown as a development fund someday after my daughters get married.
