Q) Write about your favourite book.
A) My favorite book in my life is "Crime and Punishment" by Russian writer Fyodor Mikhailovich Dostoevsky.
This book is about committing a murder with the misconception that he can realize social justice by killing a loan shark who he thinks is of no help to the world, and eventually living in prison in Siberia, loving a woman and reflecting his life.
It contains that no matter how guilty a person is, humans themselves should never be used as a tool for punishment, and their crimes cannot be rationalized no matter how good their intentions are.
I read this book 40 years ago, and it was difficult because the book was thick and the content of the book was psychologically expressed, but I read it so deeply that I can tell everyone that it is my favorite book.
Hi David, I enjoyed reading your essay about your favorite book, "Crime and Punishment." You captured the themes of justice and morality beautifully, and your reflection on its psychological depth was compelling. Its clear how much the story resonated with you. Keep it up!
