Knowing about the mechanism makes me learn better when I learn about something. For example, when I was in masters degree, I learned experiment skill from my senior. While I was learning experiments to use Realtime-PCR, which analyze DNA sequencing experiment skill, I couldnt understand why I have to use it. Although, senior taught me significantly in detail, I was so hard to understand. However, after I recognized about mechanism, I could utilize equipment much more easily. Because I studied how it works, it upgraded my skills faster. For this reason, knowing about mechanism makes me learn better when I learn difficult subject.
Hello, Mr. Hong Shik! I agree with you. It's extremely difficult to absorb something when you do not fully understand its purpose and mechanism. Thank you for sharing.-T. Sonny
