Hi Teacher Divina. Thank you for giving me homework. Teacher I have a question. When I was summary Dialogue part, I don't know the using of the words say, talk. Homework. What are the adjustments that you need to make when you go to another place? My answer Before I go to another place, I think I make a plan that I reduce the list of things I want to do .

As for your question, we use "say" if someone is trying to express some thoughts about something.

Example:

He said he wanted to get some ice cream. (the person listening will know the exact words that were said)

On the other hand, we use "talk" if it's only the act of making words from the mouth.

Example:

I talked to the person beside me. (the person listening doesn't know what the person said)

She talked about cars. (the person listening doesn't know the exact words said by the person)

Notes:

1. Before I go to another place, I think I make a plan that I reduce the list of things I want to do .
