I am most afraid of pancreatic cancer and dementia, perhaps because I saw my father's suffering and death and I have seen my mom suffering from dementia. Pancreatic cancer, like my father's case,is difficult to detect and operate,so it has the highest mortality rate. That's why I am frightened with the cancer and I have tried to make much effort to avoid developing the cancer. And I think that dementia is the terrible thing because it is distressing for the patients not to notice their family and to forget their good memories.
Hello, Gi Yean!I agree! In all cases of cancer, people will agree that it is indeed scary. I think another scary part about the diseases you've mentioned is the fact that they are hereditary. So having a family history of these requires us to be extra careful compared to those without a history.
