There was a special meaning to dreams in ancient times, but there is no special meaning nowadays. I have a way to know if this is a dream or not. I tend to pinch my cheek hard. The sensation is the same, but I can't feel any pain in a dream. If I realize it's a dream, then I do strange things in the dream. For example, I jump off high buildings and hit people. I think it can reduce my stress.
