What was your most memorable job interview experience?

I had a chance to interview at an autonomous mobile cart company located in Daejeon, which is known for Koreas top tech college, KAIST. The company was founded by KAIST undergraduate students, and there were around 50 employees, most of whom have degrees from KAIST and were quite young. During my interview for a designer position, I had a one-on-one interview with a young interviewer. The interview was casual. I had already sent them my portfolio, and it seemed she had reviewed it carefully. During the interview, she listened attentively to my story and background, and I had a good feeling about the company. After the interview, she gave me a short tour of the company. I really wanted to work with such smart people. However, when I received the acceptance email, the pay was much lower than I expected. I was quite naive and also scared to discuss sensitive topics such as compensation. Now if I have a chance like that again, I would be a lot more confident with negotiating.
