Why do some people lack clarity about their true life goals?

Well, it's a matter of deep thinking. Because in Korea, even young children lack clarity and cannot easily answer true life goals or dreams. I think there are two main reasons. First, people don't think they've thought clearly about their life goals. When they were young, they may have made a choice based on the principle of majority vote, set their life goals, but they may not have grasped them accurately, or they may not have tried because they did nont have a specific plan. Second, the goals of life may not be set to match the current social atmosphere. This seems to have something to do with the social atmosphere as well. Korea is an infinitely competitive society, and there is an implicit atmosphere in which we have to act according to our age. Even if they want to set a life goal, they can't set it due to work or competition, or even if they set a life goal, they have a lot of other things to do, so they have a lack of clarity because they have lack of priorities.

Hello, Yun!
I completely agree that when we were young, our goals were influenced by others or trends, comparable to the second explanation you stated. I really think that our surroundings really influence our lives, thus it's better to know who you are without comparing. Focus on yourself so you learn what you want in life and where you need to grow.
