>> If my mom says, "Do this" or "Don't do that", I get angry.

I was sorry for when my mom is sad
>> I was sorry for making my mom sad. 

If my mom is sad I'm sad, too
>> If my mom is sad I'm sad, too.
>> OR: I feel sad when my mom is sad.
