What do you think are some of the factors that make some people go vegetarian?

I think the major reason here in Taiwan is for religious. Another reason maybe in Korea is the sudden realization about protecting the animals. And there are children affected by their vegetarian parents. They have no choice but to be forced to being vegetarian, especially it is for religious. I feel sorry for them. meet is so delicious...
