Have you ever seen a piece of art that affected you strongly? What was it?

I don't have much knowledge about art. However, I can't forget the shock I had from Picasso's paintings that I saw in art class when I was in school. My first impression was that it looked like something children had roughly scribbled. I even thought the pictures were something I stopped drawing. It was not as elegant or nice as other famous painters' paintings. However, after hearing a detailed story about Picasso from my art teacher, my thoughts changed. When Picasso was very young, he was already the best at drawing in general at the time. It is said that he became tired of such drawings and began to draw his own unique and creative paintings. But it is said that people at the time criticized Picasso's work harshly. And it is said that only after a long time had passed did Picasso's paintings become internationally recognized. It is easy to imitate others, but it is difficult to create your own unique painting style. That is why Picasso is evaluated as a great painter.

Good evening, Sun!

Learning through and about the arts enriches the experience of studying while at school as well as preparing students for life after school. Arts subjects encourage self-expression and creativity and can build confidence as well as a sense of individual identity.
