Hello Yun!
Thank you for providing me with various reasons for the necessity of eye contact, and I must agree with what you have mentioned. On the other hand, eye contact might vary depending on our beliefs. For example, some people dislike it when others maintain eye contact with them because of their religion or culture. Some prefer having it because it demonstrates sincerity... It all depends on the individual's perception. We always do this with good intentions. ^_^

There seem to be so many reasons why making eye contact is important. The important reasons I think are as follows.

First, it is because it's evidence that mutual communication between each other is smooth.

The person giving the presentation needs to know if the listener understands, and one means can be eye contact.

Also, listeners can use eye contact as a means of communication.

Second, it can give trust to others.

It can be useful, especially for important interviews or businesses.

Third, people can use eye contact as a means of expressing love.

Well, I haven't expressed or felt love by making eye contact yet, so I can't understand it, but many people think eye contact is one expression of love.

>>Correct

For example, a cat owner blinks while looking into the cat's eyes, or holds newborn baby and makes eye contact.

It's often said that Koreans are fell in love just by the eye contact of the male main character in the drama, but this may be the case.

However, there are quite a few people who can't make eye contact easy, so I think it's an action that requires effort myself.
