How do global cuisines influence breakfast choices?

A traditional Korean breakfast consists of rice as a base, simple soup, and a few side dishes. The most common side dishes are kimchi and vegetables or salted fish, and may also include one or two meat side dishes. However, currently, there are not many people who stick to this traditional breakfast, except for those in their 60s or older. Most Koreans prefer a simple, Western-style breakfast considering their busy mornings. In my case, I sometimes eat scorched rice or kimchi soup with rice for breakfast. However in most cases, I eat boiled eggs, fruit, and some bread with milk or juice. And sometimes I skip breakfast. It is said that intermittent fasting is actually good for health.
