What do you think of the proverb, "Beauty is in the eye of the beholder?"

I think it's true. When I see people who are familiar with me I don't usually care whether they are beautiful or not. Instead of their face I rather see them by their image that has been formed by my experience about the person. So even the person is not beautiful, I feel the person beautiful. Also, if I like a person he or she looks more beautiful than they actually does. I amplify their good looking part. For example, if the person has beautiful nose then I mainly look his or her nose so the person looks more beautiful.
