When I was a student, teachers gave punishment to students who was late school. Some students didn't enter school through a gate. They crossed wall for avoiding teachers. The punishment was that clearning toilet for 1 week, running 0 laps of the playground. My middle school and high school were far from home. It took 1 hour by buses. It was snowy day, I was late for school. But I didn't get punishment because the weather was a legitimate reason.
