Q) "Why Regular Dental Checkups Are Important?
A) I always emphasize regular check-ups for patients in my clinic.
However, the intervals of regular checkups all varies from patient to patient.
From as short as three months to as long as one year.
The reason why regular checkups are important is not just to find diseases that occur in the oral cavity.
It is important to check how much the patient is making effort for his or her oral care.
If the patient's efforts are insufficient, of course, he or she should come to me frequently for examination and education.
However, if the patient is doing well in his or her oral care, he does not have to come often.
Just as an English teacher helps my English level improve, I am also helping the patient improve his or her own management skills through regular dental checkups.
