What do you think is the difference between a fear that is rational and one that is irrational?

Everyone lives with fear of disease and death. Unless people are gods, it is their fate to die at some point. This rational fear can actually become a catalyst for humans to live harder. On the other hand, irrational fear promotes distrust between people and divides society. A representative example would have been vaccination during the Covid-19 outbreak in 2020. It was possible to prevent Covid-19 only by vaccinating a vaccine created jointly across the world. And most people have been vaccinated and have immunity. However, some groups have incited people not to get vaccinated because there are a huge number of deaths due to vaccinations and the government is covering them up. There were cases where some people who believed this died because they were not vaccinated. This irrational fear must be overcome through the provision of accurate information by government authorities and mature citizen consciousness.

Thank you, Sun!

Irrational fears are fears of something that can do no harm to you, rational fears make you avoid things that can do harm to you.
