I remember my father's advice vividly. When I lost an important race and was disappointed at the fact that next morning I faced my friends and teachers, my dad came over to me and consoled me saying that over time I am going to face many successes and failures at the same time. He said that this failure would make you have the power to deal with some failures. At that time I was a senior of high school. Decades of years have passed, but I have kept my father's advice deep in mind. So I am not afraid of failing or missing anything.
Hi, Gi Yean!
The advice that you received from your father was really great and motivating. It's nice that he made you understand at a young age that failure is a part of life and that each failure can make you stronger as a person. Thank you for sharing it with me!
