Well, I thought or a very traditional story. It may be a story that everyone knows, but it's the story or a rabbit and a turtle.
This story is about a rabbit and a turtle running competition, and the fast rabbit was arrogant, naturally thought myself would win, but the slow turtle won the competition.
When I was young, I heard this story, it was a story that gave children the realization that I should always do my best without being complacement, but whe I grow up and listen to this story again, I feel different. It seems to make me realize that working hard is important and I have to do my best, and the results are important, but the process is also important.
These days, people value results more than processes, but the story that you can get good results if you keep going, even if it's slow and difficult, will give people an enlightenment. I think it's a necessary story for society right now.

I really like the realization you had about the story, and I totally agree with it. 
As they say, we may have started at the same time, but we all have our own challenges as we go on, so we may reach our goals faster or slower than others. But the most important thing is we tried our best and still got there. ^^
