What other cuisines have you tried aside from Vietnamese cuisine ?

There are a lot of foreign restaurants in Korea and also I traveled abroad a lot, so I could try other countries' cuisines.
But I am a middle aged man and I have been used to the taste of Korean food for a long time.
And when I traveled overseas, I always took a tour guided by a Korean and the Korean guide always took me to Korean restaurants.
So I don't have much experience trying foreign food and even if I have tried foreign food, I can't remember it in details.
My trip to Vietnam last October was my first trip without a guide.
So my friend and I tried as much local food as we could, but we soon got tired of it.
And to be honest, our English wasn't fluent and we couldn't speak Vietnamese at all, so we were limited in trying various local foods.
I really envy Filipinos who can speak English very well.
I will continue studying English so that my English becomes more fluent and I hope to try more local food when I travel abroad someday.
