The primary advantage of the homogenous society is strong social cohesion. Since every individual share cultural background, language and culture, they tend to have a strong sense of belongings and a high level of cooperation. This benefit would allow efficient social governance, hence strong social stability. For example, there is an LA uprising that happened in 1992. Korean formed a patrol and not participated in looting. However, the abovementioned benefits would result in a lack of diversity. This is because this united society has prejudice against outsiders. When everyone shares similar cultural heritage, there is a higher possibility of collectivism where alternative perspectives are discriminated against. For instance, one of many Korean companies is not resilient to economic pressure because of not embracing various expertise and value. Accordingly, this disadvantage could hinder the innovation and development of society.
