How I measure how much I have improved in a particular field is defferant depending on which field it is.
I'll talk about how I measure my improvement in the violin performance I'm interested in now.
There are 2 ways to think that my performance has improved in violin performance.
The first is sound and the second is speed.
When I play the violin at first, I don't get a good sound, and I touch the 2 strings together, so I get a sound that's not clean.
I can see that the pitch is also unstable, so I can't press the exact position with my left finger.
When connecting the first and next passage, I can’t move my left fingers quickly.
However, if I practice hard, I can see that my left finger moves accurately and quickly on the fingerboard.
If I practice a little more, my fingers will move exactly even if I wouldn’t see the movement of my fingers with my eyes.
And if I compare the previous videos with the current videos, I can see the process of developing myself.
