Do you think New Year’s celebrations are important?

>>> Sometimes those are important because we always set new goals for new year and decide to change old habit or custom. There is a professor in KAIST majoring neuroscience named Jaeseung Jeong and I ordinarily respect him. When I read a brain science book which is written by him, he told how difficult we change our old custom. As he said, it is because our brain. The synapses in our brain are made for whole our lifetime and we always easily use it when thinking or remembering. Because it is hard for us to rearrange synapse structure, this is the reason why we can't change ourselves easily. Only big event or decision can make someone changed. Therefore, to fix our old custom and be a better person, we need a critical stimulate and it's a new wish or goal in New Year's celebration
