Korea is still a very conservative society.
In Korea, cooking has long been considered a woman's job.
When I was young, I was taught that men should not come near the kitchen.
My mother is over 80 years old, but she still serves my father's meals every day.
Even now, many of my friends take it for granted that their wives prepare meals.
However, after getting married, I tend to cook and eat my own meals.
Because my ex-wife was sleeping a lot in the morning and working, I couldn't ask her to cook my breakfast.
And since my wife left home 8 years ago, I have been living with my two daughters, but unlike my two daughters, I tend to start the day very early, so I still cook and eat my own breakfast.
Of course, I often eat out with my two daughters for dinner, and when we eat at home, my daughters and I take turns preparing dinner.

Korea is still a very conservative society.
>> Correct.
Or >> Korea's society is still highly conservative.
In Korea, cooking has long been considered a woman's job.
>> Cooking has traditionally been seen as a woman's job in Korea.
When I was young, I was taught that men should not come near the kitchen.
>> I learned as a kid that men should not enter the kitchen.
My mother is over 80 years old, but she still serves my father's meals every day.
>> Even though my mother is over 80, she still prepares and serves my father's meals every day.
Even now, many of my friends take it for granted that their wives prepare meals.
>> Many of my acquaintances still consider their wives' dinner preparation to be expected.
However, after getting married, I tend to cook and eat my own meals.
>> But ever since I got married, I've started preparing and eating my own food.
Because my ex-wife was sleeping a lot in the morning and working, I couldn't ask her to cook my breakfast.
>> I couldn't ask my ex-wife to make breakfast for me because she worked and slept a lot in the morning.
And since my wife left home 8 years ago, I have been living with my two daughters, but unlike my two daughters, I tend to start the day very early, so I still cook and eat my own breakfast.
>> In addition, I have lived with my two daughters since my wife moved out eight years ago, but I still prepare and eat my own breakfast because I get up early in the morning.
Of course, I often eat out with my two daughters for dinner, and when we eat at home, my daughters and I take turns preparing dinner.
>> Of course, I often eat dinner out with my two daughters, and when we eat at home, my daughters and I take turns preparing dinner.
