Seoul has been the capital of Korea for 631 years since it was designated as the capital by the first king of the Joseon Dynasty in 1393.
Therefore, many historical buildings have been built.
However, unfortunately, most of Korea's old buildings were burned or destroyed in the process of fighting numerous wars.
It has now been restored mainly with some of the remaining debris, but its original grandeur cannot be seen.
Nevertheless, Seoul, the capital of Korea, has five palaces where the king's family lived and where state affairs were discussed.
First, Gyeongbokgung Palace was the first palace built and was huge, with as many as 7,000 rooms, but now only 37 buildings remain.
Next is Changdeokgung Palace, the only one of the five major palaces to be registered as a World Cultural Heritage.
That's how well the original shape is preserved. In addition, there are Deoksugung Palace, Changgyeonggung Palace, and Gyeonghuigung Palace, which I recommend you to see when you come to Korea.

Seoul has been the capital of Korea for 631 years since it was designated as the capital by the first king of the Joseon Dynasty in 1393.
>> Since the first king of the Joseon Dynasty designated Seoul as the capital in 1393, Seoul has served as the capital of Korea for 631 years.
Therefore, many historical buildings have been built.
>> Around that time, a lot of historically significant structures were built.
However, unfortunately, most of Korea's old buildings were burned or destroyed in the process of fighting numerous wars.
>> However, the process of declaring several wars resulted in the destruction or burning of most of Korea's historical buildings.
It has now been restored mainly with some of the remaining debris, but its original grandeur cannot be seen.
>> The vast majority of the remnant debris has been used to rebuild it, but the beauty of the original structure has already lost.
Nevertheless, Seoul, the capital of Korea, has five palaces where the king's family lived and where state affairs were discussed.
>> However, the king's family resided in five palaces in Seoul,  where discussions about state-related issues took place.
First, Gyeongbokgung Palace was the first palace built and was huge, with as many as 7,000 rooms, but now only 37 buildings remain.
>> Initially, Gyeongbokgung Palace was the largest palace ever constructed, with up to 7,000 chambers; however, just 37 structures are still standing.
Next is Changdeokgung Palace, the only one of the five major palaces to be registered as a World Cultural Heritage.
>> The only one of the five principal palaces to be designated as a World Cultural Heritage is Changdeokgung Palace, which comes next.
That's how well the original shape is preserved.
>> Correct.
In addition, there are Deoksugung Palace, Changgyeonggung Palace, and Gyeonghuigung Palace, which I recommend you to see when you come to Korea.
>> In addition, I suggest that you visit Deoksugung Palace, Changgyeonggung Palace, and Gyeonghuigung Palace during your trip to Korea.
