One of the things I worry about most when traveling by plane is turbulence.
I actually encountered turbulence when I was flying to Indonesia with three friends in December 2017.
To go from Korea to Indonesia, I have to cross the equator.
It is known that a lot of turbulence is generally encountered when crossing the equator.
The turbulence I encountered during my flight in December 2017 was really severe.
The turbulence caused the plane to shake and eventually descend vertically for more than 50 meters.
Fortunately, my friends and I were not hurt, but at that moment, I remembered a movie about a plane crashing and was terrified.
I never want to encounter turbulence in flight again.

Experts advise air travelers to stay vigilant, stressing the importance of wearing a seat belt whenever possible as a first line of protection.
