In Korea, there are some gestures that are considered rude.
First, sitting with legs crossed during classes on school or university. Crossing legs does not matter when I work, eat and take a coffee with my friends or family. However, when I listen to a professor¡¯s lecture or when I attend a business meeting with a boss, sitting with legs crossed may be considered rude.

Second, waving hands high to an older person is rude gestures in Korea. Instead of waving hand, we usually bow our head down when we say hello to someone who older than me. It also doesn¡¯t problem to friends.

Third, it is considered rude that getting and giving some stuffs to older people with ONE hand in Korea. We usually use two hands putting together. Korean don¡¯t think using one hand is polite. Interesting thing is that we usually use two hands putting together even when we receive beer or Soju(Korean alcohol) from an older person! HAHA
