Choosing friends who have same ideas makes us comfort and validate as there is mutual understanding and agreement on various topics. This can create a supportive environment. However, surrounding oneself solely with like-minded friends may lead to echo chambers, where diverse perspectives are not considered, potentially limiting personal growth and growth. It can also hinder exposure to new ideas and alternative viewpoints. On the other hand, having friends who sometimes disagree with us can be beneficial for several reasons. Firstly, it encourages intellectual discourse and debate, leading to a deeper exploration of ideas and fostering critical thinking skills. Disagreements can sometimes strengthen relationships by fostering mutual respect, trust, and the ability to navigate conflicts maturely. In my opinion, having friends who don't agree with me is essential for personal growth although it is natural to seek validation from someone. Embracing disagreement can lead to richer empathy
