In the novel The Seagull's Dream, there is a famous saying, "A bird flying high can see far away."
Humans are not birds and cannot fly, but I think it is an instinctive human desire to want to climb to high places.
The highest mountain in the world is Mount Everest in the Himalayas.
The height of the mountain is a whopping 8,848 meters.
The Himalayas are located in a country called Nepal between China and India, and this mountain range has 14 peaks over 8,000 meters high.
It is said that the dream of every professional mountaineer is to climb all 14 mountains higher than 8,000 meters.
Until now, only a very few climbers have achieved this dream.
I am an ordinary person, so it would be virtually impossible to climb Mount Everest, which is 8,848 meters high and difficult for even professional mountaineers to climb.
However, if possible, I would like to climb Mount Everest, the highest mountain in the world, and look at the Earth beneath my feet.
