What are your thoughts on the idea that ¡°cheap clothes are not worth it¡± in the long run?

I don't agree with that idea that cheap clothes are not worth it in the long run.
I think that expensive clothes are generally more stylish and of better quality than cheap clothes.
However, clothes from top European brands such as Chanel, Gucci and Purada are overly expensive compared to their quality.
I think such brands are artificially creating the image that expensive clothes are better by adopting a high price policy targeting the high-income class.
Therefore, in this case, it cannot be said that the price and quality of clothes are proportional.
On the other hand, there are many discount stores in Korea that sell not only out-of-season clothes but also seasonal clothes at low prices.
The clothes sold at these discount stores may not be as good as high-end brands, but they are popular among Korea's middle class because they are cost-effective.
Therefore, clothes purchased at discount stores are often worth it in the long run.

Thank you, Sun!

With fabrics, you generally get what you pay for. Cheap fabric will lose its shape more quickly and twist, shrink excessively, stretch out, or pill up if you wash or wear it a few times. Fabric has a big effect on the fit of a garment and if the fabric quality, look, and feel don't hold up, the fit will change.

I don't agree with that idea that cheap clothes are not worth it in the long run.
>> Correct.
I think that expensive clothes are generally more stylish and of better quality than cheap clothes.
>> Correct.
Or >> In my opinion, expensive clothing is typically higher-quality and more trendy than cheap clothing.
However, clothes from top European brands such as Chanel, Gucci and Purada are overly expensive compared to their quality.
>> Correct.
I think such brands are artificially creating the image that expensive clothes are better by adopting a high price policy targeting the high-income class.
>> Correct.
Or >> I believe that by focusing on the high-income class with their extravagant costs, these firms are deliberately promoting the idea that expensive clothing is superior.
Therefore, in this case, it cannot be said that the price and quality of clothes are proportional.
>> It is therefore impossible to conclude that the cost and quality of the clothing correspond to one another in this instance.
On the other hand, there are many discount stores in Korea that sell not only out-of-season clothes but also seasonal clothes at low prices.
>> Correct.
The clothes sold at these discount stores may not be as good as high-end brands, but they are popular among Korea's middle class because they are cost-effective.
>> Correct.
Or >> The middle class in Korea loves these cheap businesses because they sell affordable clothing, even though the quality may not be as good as high-end brands.
Therefore, clothes purchased at discount stores are often worth it in the long run.
>> Correct.
