My husband's car is also a hybrid. Hybrid cars have many advantages. Hybrids use a mixture of two types of power sources. In Korea, it is usually used as an engine and electric motor. The driving principle of a Hybrid car is that when driving at low speeds, only the electric motor is running and the engine is resting when acceleration is required while driving, or when strong driving forces are needed in an uphill climb, the engine and motor work together. In a typical driving situation, the engine and motor work together to charge the battery to increase energy efficiency.
Hybrid cars are also popular in Korea.
