In my country it called Hangul day, when that day, Too many shops, and sns you can show Korean words, if they words not Korean, it doesn't matter, just translated to Korean, when the CHOSUN dynasty, made it korean words.(1443) so CHOSUN dynasty before, we used to chines not speak, just wright word. so you can find korean and chines very similar means, but just similar, not a same.
some chinese historians said that korean is not make themselves, just copied Chinese. it was incorrect.
anyway, Not most people, just only me, when hangul day, i try not to speak English as much as possible. but you know, it's impossible.
in korea, already many parts use english.
