>> House and home are usually used interchangeably but they usually provide different sense when used. House = physical structure that provides shelter.
Home =provides emotional fulfillment.

> Why do l use ‘the’ in front of ‘weather’?
>> Actually, it's okay not to use 'the' in this sentence. You may or may not use it. "The" usually indicates specific object.

What does ‘family dog’ mean? Is it word?
>> A family dog means a pet dog owned by the family.

>> It means you are a pleasure or fun to talk with.
