There are many words adopted from English. Our country adopted many technologies, products and systems when we were developing, so the words like bus, television and coffee are used in Korea without any alternative Korean words. Also, currently people use English additional to Korean because some words are more cool or easier to say in English than Korean. For example, hi, bye and Okay ect. Additionally in newly made words, English is partly used. For instance, "ㅇㅋ(오키)"is a more casual version of okay and in a word"커피차" is 'coffee+차(car)'.
