Hotel has diverse functions not only staying but also enjoying customer's life.
The banquet events are helpful to increase the sales for the hotel even during the off season.
Once customers visit the hotel for the banquet events, it could be also good impact for the advertisement.
Banquet events can bring in lots of money and people, so it is very important.

I guess you have said it right. For me,  banquet sales are not different from other sales as all things or functions of the hotel that provide sales are important. It just happens that occasions/events happen in all seasons so there are higher possibilities to have it booked anytime. In that case, most events come with a greater number of people, meaning there is a bigger chance to expose what the hotel could offer. Then, by giving them excellent service, they can recommend the hotel to other people. Or by taking pictures during the event it might go all over the social media platforms as an instant advertisement. ^.^
