What's the difference between motel and hotel?
Facilities are different between them. Motels are available for people who want to stay only.
However hotels have diverse infrastructures such as not only the rooms but also sauna, swimming pool, restaurants.
And the fee for motel are generally resonable compare to the hotel.
In addition, to define the motel, it could be abreviation for motorist and hotel.
Motel appeared for the motorist who want to stay and park easily while traveling.

Why do you think most of hotels are located in Seoul?
The reason why most of hotels are located in Seoul is because of its damand.
As everybody knows Seoul has many tourist attractions and populations.
Particularly, most of business are focused on Seoul.

-- Motels are made to accommodate guests who may only be staying for one or two nights, they often provide a minimal standard of lodging along with a few basic amenities. And therefore, the rates are cheaper. It was originally a Motor Hotel designed for persons traveling by automobile, with easy access to motorway junctions.

While Hotels provide more care and hospitality than just lodging. They are usually located in the city centers. They offer a variety of facilities such as fitness centers, saunas, laundry services, and swimming pools.
