Acupuncture is common in Korea. I know that acupuncture is originated from China, but since it was introduced to Korea in the past, acupuncture has developed until now and is also called Korean traditional medicine. There are a lot of clinics in Korea, and I tried several times. When I was young, I often fell down and sprained my wrist or ankle. Every time, I went to the oriental medicine clinic and got acupuncture treatment and recovered quickly. So I think it is quite effective for pain.
