What you need is just to turn on the language conversing application and let it hear what that foreigner is saying. You can learn what he or she is talking about on the screen of your smartphone. However, you want to have quality talking with foreigners. You should learn the language they're using or English.
As the convenience of navigation degenerates the human's skill to locate themselves and find the way to their destination, so can downgrade the English translator the passion to learn other languages and their cultures. Although it takes a lot of time and effort to learn a foreign language, it is worthwhile.
