First, Using public transport is able to reduce pollution. If all people who using public transport use thier own vehicle The vehicle will make more than hunderd times greenhouse gases. It is not included flowing pollution from traffic jam.
Secondary, It is more convenient than driving by myself. I can do other things such as reading books, watching movies and videos during the transport time. And I can drink when I hang out with my friends If I use public transport.
To reduce pollution and convenient are the benefit of using public transport.
