Many parents treat the oldest and youngest people differently. It's because Korean people think the oldest people are more important than the youngest people. And I got education that we have to treat politely to the oldest people. And I don't think this culture is not strange.

Thank you for writing an essay regarding this topic. 
It's true that parents treat their older children and younger children differently. 
Most of the time, the older children are favored but they are given more responsibilities. On the other hand, the younger children are treated like babies in the family because they are "fragile". 
I'm a middle child so I haven't experienced both. LOL.
