In my country, number 4 is considered unlucky, and number 7 is considered lucky.
The reason why is number 4 considered unlucky is an affect that comes from Chinese character.
In Korea, when we write number for in Chinese character, we use 死.
死 includes the meaning of death, so some buildings don't have 4th floor. They use the word Four instead of numbe 4.
So in that building, there are 1st floor, 2nd floor, 3rd floor, F Floor, and 5th floor...etc.
Especially, hospitals don't want to write 4 in the elevator.

Next, let's talk about number 7.
I don't know the reason why number 7 is considered lucky. But we usually call number 7 like Lucky Seven!!
So I think it might be solidified like an idiom. Many people don't know why number 7 is lucky, but they
think that number 7 is lucky.
